About the Position:
Effortless is looking for an experienced, versatile, and proactive Senior IT Administrator to join our team. The Senior IT Administrator will manage the day-to-day operations of the IT department that services a portfolio of 39+ senior living real estate communities that are both operating and in various stages of construction. The candidate should have comprehensive experience and knowledge in IT Support, Systems Analyst, and Network and Systems Administration.

The ideal candidate not only has the technical skills to perform the role, but they should also pride themselves on providing excellent customer service, have a passion for hands-on troubleshooting, be self-directed, and strive for continuous improvement. 

Note - this role will be an Effortless employee but work directly for one specific client.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing daily IT operations at our client's communities ensuring that systems and networks are running smoothly.  
  • Hands on technical support when on site; diagnose and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, network connectivity, and user access. 
  • ‍Developing and implementing policies, procedures, and processes to improve IT operations and increase efficiency and productivity.  
  • ‍Evaluating and implementing new technologies and systems that improve IT infrastructure and support the organization's business goals.  
  • Independently lead IT projects from initiation to completion, including planning, execution, and monitoring progress against timelines and budgets 
  • ‍Maintaining a strong understanding of the organization's business needs and working closely with other departments to ensure that IT is aligned with those needs.  
  • ‍Ensuring that the organization's IT policies and procedures are up to date and compliant with industry standards and company regulations.
  • Assess IT systems performance and recommend improvements.  
  • Provide support and guidance to stakeholders via help desk.  
  • Keep record of problems and their resolution.
  • Maintain technical documentation and service catalog on installation of software, configuration of hardware and problem troubleshooting.  
  • Safeguards information system assets by identifying and solving potential and actual security problems.  
  • Implements security improvements by assessing current situation; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements.  
  • Implements and administers IT training and auditing for existing and new employees.    
  • Maintains technical knowledge and stays up to date with latest advancements and trends.
  • Determines security violations and inefficiencies by conducting periodic audits.  
  • Upgrades system by implementing and maintaining security controls.  
  • Travel to company locations for installation and maintenance.  
  • Research and understand industry standards and compliance.  
  • Performs related duties as assigned. 

Qualifications:
Education and Work Experience:

  • Previous working experience as IT Technician/Systems or Network Administrator 
  • 5+ of experience planning, designing, developing, implementing, evaluating and maintaining information technology systems 
  • Previous working experience leading and managing IT projects

Specialized Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent analytical skills to identify and resolve complex technical issues 
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and strong focus on customer service
  • Ability to plan, execute, and monitor IT projects within budget and timelines 
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management skills - self-directed
  • Strong understanding of network infrastructure, operating systems, security protocols, and cloud computing. 
  • In depth knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles 
  • Industry related certifications preferred

Position Details:
Location: On Site in Englewood, CO
Travel: Up to 50% travel
Salary: $90,000 - $115,000 annually
