About the Role: 
As a Procurement Manager, you will oversee the entire process of fostering relationships with vendors, purchasing equipment and then dispatching to our clients post configuration. That process includes product research, contract negotiation, quote processing, client communication, and shipping logistics. This position also purchases and monitors software licenses for all clients. The ideal candidate is highly collaborative, extremely detail oriented, and has expertise with procurement for an MSP or a similar industry. 

Responsibilities: 

Supplier Management, Contracting, and Pricing 

  • Manage relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable terms and contracts to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of IT hardware and software. 
  • Investigate and understand vendor partner programs to maximize available incentives. 
  • Assess supplier performance, address issues and identify opportunities for improvement. 
  • Conduct thorough product research to ensure the best pricing and provide options to our clients and internal team members. 

Asset Management 

  • Oversee the process to receive, tag, and log all new hardware in the OMS platform for accurate management and tracking. 
  • Track all EO owned equipment/soft goods, internal and external, and facilitate return at the end of a contract or employment. 
  • Manage EOL (end of life) process and decommissioning for retired hardware. 

License Management 

  • Track and provide communication for expiring licenses and warranties to ensure timely renewals. 
  • Process requests for new licenses and communicate to clients/engineers when those are available.  

Logistics and Distribution 

  • Monitor deployment timelines to ensure EO procures hardware/software in a timely manner to maintain deployment schedules.  
  • Process shipments of all configured hardware. 
  • Communicate with the client and SDM regularly regarding timeline and any delays. 
  • Follow-up with client to ensure satisfaction with equipment. 

Data Analysis, Reporting, and Compliance 

  • Compile regular reports for leadership and SDMs regarding license renewal and spend analysis. 
  • Ensure all purchases align with the company's technology standards and requirements. 
  • Ensure request data is accurate in AutoTask for reporting purposes. 

Process Improvement 

  • Proactively seek ways to streamline the request and quote processes. 
  • Iterate and optimize the OMS, and other systems necessary to improve efficiency within the Procurement department. 
  • Stay updated on IT trends and advancements, as well as partner incentive program changes, ensuring EO remains at the forefront of technology. 

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field 
  • 7+ years of experience in a similar role 
  • Preferred experience in the IT field, particularly MSP 
  • Preferred experience with managing Microsoft Partner Program Incentives 
  • Preferred experience with managing manufacturer specific partner incentive programs (E.g. Cisco, Fortinet, Dell, HP, etc.) 
  • Preferred experience with managing distributor specific partner incentive programs (E.g. Ingram, TDSynnex, Insight, etc.) 
  • Basic understanding of enterprise-level hardware and equipment (servers, network hardware, printers, etc.) 
  • Proficiency with Salesforce required 
  • Superior customer service skills  
  • Certification in Software License Management a plus 
  • Experience in planning and carrying out software license audits & reconcilements 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating with various departments and stakeholders 

Reports to: Chief Financial Officer 

Location: Las Vegas, NV 

Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 – 5:00 PST 

Salary: $80,000-$100,000 annually
